Bobby Lee Rodgers records Black and Grey with Mindflow and joins the band for two tours down the east coast that year - then quits to persue a solo career.
Millen leaves band after the first tour - irreconciable differences.

The album receives good reviews but as the band begins to play more and more, there is a rift forming about the direction of the music - Roberts and Millen want to keep it about the lyrics and the songs - the other guys feel that their musical talent is being wasted - and so Deke and Greg quit and Jeff moves to NYC.
Roberts returns to Boston and Berklee - creates second incarnation of Mindflow. He meets Deke Mandisossian (bass), Greg Shannon (drums) and Pittman remains - and two weeks before going in to record the first album, Don Quixote - Dan Millen is hired to play guitar for the session.
